One of the most peculiar behavior of dutch people at work is that they go in turns to the coffee machine to get coffee or tea for each other.  Usually coffee is served from plastic cups from the coffee machine. Every company has special holders to conveniently carry four to six coffee cups at a time for this purpose. Usually there is a special container to collect dirty plastic cups for material reuse. Many people don't throw their cups away in this container but in the normal dustbin instead.

So don't be surprised if you are on a business trip and people ask what you would like to drink more than five times before 9.30am.
