The holiday home Cortijo Cabrera, near Parque Natural Montes de Malaga and the village Casabermeja, Andalusia, Spain, is situated at (36.88887, -4.38975), elevation 683 m. There are two short walks that start directly from this spot. For the first walk take the path to the road that goes down and then take the slightly bigger path left at the intersection at  (36.89168, -4.39183), elevation 576m. You can walk until the path ends at another house. The walk is in total about one hour each way.

On my map of Parque Natural Montes de Málaga (Penibetica) there seems to be a very small trail starting from the Cortijo Cabrera. This trail should lead to a neighbouring house. From there it is possible to walk via better paths to Parque Natural Montes de Malaga. Unfortunately I could not find this trail at all. However it is possible to reach the destination of this vanished trail, walking straight through the fields crossing the top of the nearby hill Cerro Mogea using the coordinates below, in gpx format with decimal degrees.

From the last coordinate pass the houses, keep them on your right side and go to the beginning of a regular path. Follow this path, after 200m there is a small road and from there you can make many interesting hikes.

This walk is about 1.5 km long and should take about three quarters. Since it does not use established paths walk carefully, during daytime, when the soil is dry. Protect your legs and arms as well: do not wear shorts and wear a shirt with long sleeves.
