The following note is for Tibco BusinessWorks 5.6.

Today I got the following error message while debugging a process with a RVCM process starter with the Tester in Tibco Designer:

The resource DefaultRVCMSession has been locked and does not accept resources.

It turned out that the Siebel Adapter Configuration in the same Designer project had to be writable, so I had to check it out from the version control system.

Later I checked it in again and wanted to build the ear file from Designer. Again I got the same error message when building the ear file. I did not need to check out the Siebel Adapter configuration again. Instead I just tried to build the ear file again and the second time I did not get the error message.
